A Tribute to my favorite cartoon EVER
Porkyin Wackland (1939) is my favorite cartoon of all time. It uses the medium of animation to its fullest and takes it to its most surreal possibilities. The Do Do bends the reality for comic effect. He has a simple timeless style. This cartoon also features surrealist paintings as backgrounds. it was remade years later by Fritz Freling as Dough for Do Do, it is pretty much the same cartoon except in color. Above are some sketches of the Do Do I did. He is hands down, my favorite cartoon character.
