One year of daily drawings.

Last Year, my New Year's resolution was to do a one hour drawing exercise every day. The exercise is to do one drawing per minute of whatever I can think of. I missed a few days here and there, but I still feel like my resolution was a success. Through the coarse of the year I filled six sketch books. Here is the year in review. Two pages of drawings per month so you can see my progress.

Nice Looney Moon. way to crank it out and draw the crap out of some books.
any clue as to this year's resolution?
12 sketchbooks and 3 stone tablets?

Good going. The improvement is particularly noticeable if you flip back and forth between January and December.

Keep it up, Looney! I can see lots of improvement. Once artists start gaining speed, you really start improving fast. I think your stuff is getting more solid, but really nail that construction first. Everything after that, like line of action and all that stuff, will follow. GO LOONEY GO!

6 of those big black books? Wow! And in my school people were amazed that I did two a year/ I gotta say I am jealous.
For some reason though, during the day I am alot slower, at night I draw pretty fast.

Mike - Thanks, this year's resolution will not be posted online, well maybe some stone tablets.

David - Thanks

Chris - Thanks, I definitely noticed as I improved I was able to draw faster. I think it is a confidence thing.

Jay - Thanks, I was able to draw so fast in these sketchbooks because I was not worried about making them look good. They are really just doodles, some of them look like stuff.
