I finally got a chance to go out and try new caricature technique on some real people. Here are the results.

I read through Tom Richmond's Caricature Lessons. I found them very enlightening. I think it will change the way I approach caricature. I tried some of his principles on some unwitting subjects from myspace. The top drawing is a quick mapping of the face with normal proportions.


I can't wait to try these new techniques on some live subjects.

I've been workin on some other stuff lately, so I don't have much to post. Here is a still life I drew tonight. It was not drawn from the photo below, just sitting at the table drawing in the sketchbook.
