I read through Tom Richmond's Caricature Lessons. I found them very enlightening. I think it will change the way I approach caricature. I tried some of his principles on some unwitting subjects from myspace. The top drawing is a quick mapping of the face with normal proportions.
I can't wait to try these new techniques on some live subjects.

Realistic Drawing
I'm taking a break from studying cartoons to focus on realistic drawing. Here are some recent examples.
Perspective Exercise - View from my back yard.
Perspective Exercise - Dining Room.
Self Portrait - The first time my handsome mug has graced this blog
I am a little embarrassed about putting this one up. Not because of the rendering, but the ridiculous expression on my face. I really wasn't going for the brimming psychopath look.
